The making of Soft Luminosity IS-edition

On Stephan de Smet's portfolio on Behance.net, some beautiful pictures have been posted of the making process of the Soft Luminosity folder at Alex Barbaix.

19th Century craftsmanship: led characters, the smell of ink, making color by intuition and the feel and rattle and boom from the press.

IS-projects goes to Turin!

We are pleased to announce that IS-projects has been officially approved to participate in the alternative art fair The Others.
Being held in the former prison 'Le Nuove' in Turin on 9, 10 and 11 November 2012, this artfair has its focus on young and emerging art on the international level. 2012 is going to be its second edition. Last year, this fair attracted 13000 visitors.
We will present a director's exhibition plus the 25-25, and Soft Luminosity editions.

Soft Luminosity: Opening 23 September 4 PM

Because the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam will open it's doors again on 16 September, we have decided to postpone our opening to the 23rd. IS-projects will show a series of drawings by Pieter Bijwaard (image). Two photographic works by Veerle Thoben, Mark de Weijer's in situ paper work, two pinprick works made by Taney Roniger and a few paintings by Mel Prest.

In conjunction, these artists will produce work for a new IS-box with the dimensions 34x24x1cm. Edition of 20. More to come.
